When I was jumping into the world of effects, I stumbled upon Black Cat Pedals purely by chance. I really liked their clever updates and reproductions of some of the old seminal stomp boxes, but at the time didn’t have any need for a fuzz or overdrive pedal.
When they came out with the Mini Trem pedal, I jumped on it. Not only did it have more functionality and usage than my (then) current tremolo pedal, but it looked cooler too! I made a quick YouTube video of the pedal, and to my surprise, Tom asked if he could use it on their webpage! I was delighted, and then from there started a great rapport. I have since made another YouTube video of their Bass Octave Fuzz, which has quickly become my go-to fuzz pedal.
Both the Trem and Fuzz are extremely well-built and designed and sound amazing. Give them a try; you’ll be happy you did.
