Visual Sound

When I first flirted with the idea of getting into pedals (but went the way of the Line6 BassPod XT Live! which only delayed the inevitable), I ran into the local Guitar Center to try some stuff out. The one pedal that stuck with me out of all of the ones I tried was the Visual Sound H20 Chorus/Echo pedal. It just worked so well for bass; it had this lush chorus sound that didn’t muddy up the low end at all. Add some echo into the mix and you really had a very cool sound. I remember running across the building to grab whatever fretless they had so I could cop as many Jaco licks as I remembered, I liked the pedal that much.

When I joined art/rock band Blue Dahlia, I found another Visual Sound fan, in Derek the guitarist. He loved the Route 66 pedal for the same reasons that I did; it sounded fantastic and worked with the tone, not against it. From there, we approached VS about an endorsement and were excited to find out that they were more than willing to work with us.

I have a lot more VS pedals (Visual Volume, H20, Dual Tap Delay) in addition to their 1 Spot, and still love how well everything works. I even wrote a review for Bass Musician Magazine about the Visual Volume pedal.
