To say that Jon Moody is a man of principal is akin to saying The Beatles sold a few records. He is, by far, a man who says what he means and means what he says. He follows through, offers heartfelt honesty, grounds you when you have floated too high, and engages in no holds barred friendships. I can count my close friends on one hand and need not look past my index finger to find Jon.

His talents are how people identify him, but they do not necessarily define him as a whole. His music skills are far reaching. Classically trained in the upright bass with not so subtle jazz infusion topped off by a rock chaser. When it comes to graphic arts and the ability to capture a thought on paper, he has forgotten more than any of us will ever know. He is as comfortable in a suit talking to "the man" as he is around a campfire with a cold Labatt Blue. Jon is never a person who belittles...rather a person who can take it while still dishing it out.

Never one to remain immobile, Jon has called both Lansing, MI and Kalamazoo, MI as home. He now looks forward to the joy and challenge that is marriage and home ownership in 2008. His wife, Jen, has found a treasure that is both untainted and priceless...when she can put up with him.

For those of us who can count him as a friend, we are truly the lucky ones.
