How can I hire you for art and design work?
First, contact me and let me know what type of things you’re looking for. More importantly, let me know your timeline to get the finished product. Depending on that (and my schedule), I may or may not be able to do the job (I’ll let you know upfront). If I can do it, I’ll give you a quote for the work, and we can go from there.
Do you do session work?
I can, and would be interested in talking to you about your style and needs. If you have mp3s, youtube videos, etc.. that would definitely be helpful in figuring out what I can add to your project. If you have pre-existing tracks, I can also record my part here and send you my track to mix and use. Contact me and we can open a dialogue.
Can you do other effect pedal demos?
Yes, yes and YES! I have a small list of pedals that I’m planning to go over, most of which are ones that I currently have. So please keep coming back as I get them done, and add them onto the site.
If you are a custom builder and would like me to demo a pedal for you, please contact me and we can talk about what you’re hoping to get out of it. I pride myself on taking care of my gear, so if you’re just letting me borrow the pedal for the demo, know that it’ll be well taken care of and returned once you’re happy with the finished product. If you’re just a generous guy and are giving me a free pedal in exchange for a video demo, that’s okay too.
PLEASE NOTE: I’m not a “ohmigod, this is the greatest! You need to buy twelve of these!” kind of guy, although if I like a piece of gear, you’ll know it (my blogs about Circle K strings come to mind). I’m more interested in being as objective as possible, showing the downfalls of a piece of gear as well as its strengths. As I’ve said before, I love my gear and I love fiddling with all of the knobs and switches to find out what it does and try to show that in its truest light, so someone can say “I know how that will react in my setting.”
